Editor Atkins Court Forms
Atkins Court Forms is the UKs only Encyclopaedia of Civil Litigation Forms, Precedents and Procedure. Its 130+ titles provide legal practitioners with a complete collection of the forms and precedents required in every civil proceeding before the courts and judicial tribunals in England and Wales.
Responsibilities will include:
Keying, re-keying and updating text, taking on corrections, proof reading, checking for accuracy and creating new content in suitable format.
Making up pages using DTP packages, coding material, making last-minute changes and administering the process of sending the content for print or electronic delivery.
Liaising with other departments, functions and external suppliers as required, seeking information and confirmation.
Providing administrative and commissioning assistance such as filing/photocopying/mailing.
Any other duties as reasonably required.
Key skills
A good command of English and excellent eye for detail.
Efficient organisational and administrative skills.
Strong IT skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Good team worker, but also able to work independently.
A relevant degree/qualification.
Desirable skills
Previous experience of publishing/DTP.
An interest in the law.
