Employment Solicitor South Hertfordshire - Job Description
Private practice based in St Albans, Hertfordshire require an employment solicitor to join their specialist team of lawyers. Working on a variety of matters for employers and employees such as:
Employment contracts Drafting policies and handbooks
Advice on disciplinary matters Handling grievances
Employment tribunals Compromise agreements
Unfair/wrongful dismissal Breach of contract
Redundancy Discrimination
Parental rights Harassment
You will ideally have 1 year PQE providing enough experience in this area of law to pick up an existing caseload, although candidates who can demonstrate sound knowledge gained during a Training Contract will also be considered. The role will consist mostly of claimant work covering a broad spectrum of employment issues. Salary is likely to be in the range of £30,000 to £38,000 which is negotiable and dependent upon experience.
