Australia has been at the forefront of the global move towards energy industry restructuring and market reforms, and Minter Ellison's lawyers and clients have played central roles in many of the reforms, projects and transactions that have reshaped the industry in Australia over the past decade.

Minter Ellison have represented local and foreign developers, utilities, financial investors, governments and regulators on numerous projects and transactions involving the acquisition, development, financing and divestment of electric generation and transmission assets across Australia, and our lawyers regularly advise participants in Australia's developing energy trading and derivatives markets.

This is an important and growing part of our practice. Our Energy & Resources team has a need for an experienced lawyer or Senior Associate to to assist with our booming energy trading and energy M&A work.

Operating alongside renowned partners Denis Gately, Allison Warburton, Mark Carkeet and Simon Scott, you will enjoy an environment of continuous learning and development to ensure that you get the most out of your career here at Minter Ellison.

Applications are welcome from lawyers with strong contracts experience, project management, M&A or project finance. A general understanding, but more importantly a keen interest in the Energy & Resources sector is essential.
