We are looking for an Associate to join our leading Energy Transport & Infrastructure group.
The ETI department is at the very heart of Ashurst's international and domestic work, and is the umbrella for the very successful practice areas of energy and natural resources, projects (including PFI/PPP) and transport. ETI offers a full service to both private and public sector clients in the infrastructure and transport business, energy and resources companies, and utilities, whether as active or passive investors and intermediaries in those areas.
We have a proven record as one of the leading firms in all of these sectors – and act on a wide variety of ground-breaking and high profile projects, from projects in Africa and the Middle East to essential infrastructure development in the UK. Because of this, we are continually developing and further expanding the service we offer the European and wider international businesses in this industry, and working closely with our European and Asian offices to achieve this.
We have a core team of over 65 lawyers worldwide who advise businesses active in the ETI sector who are advising on deals across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Ideal background of candidate:
- We are looking for an all-rounder who is commercially minded and shows initiative, enthusiasm and can demonstrate organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience in secondary markets or energy work would also be an advantage.
