With equal pay being a busy area for many local authorities, increasing or gaining new experience within this area would be an excellent opportunity for any legal locum.
Our client is a large authority in the north and currently requires assistance within there team. The Council is at a curial stage of dealing with there equal pay claims with several trials pending. With this in mind they require additional assistance within the team to help prepare the cases for trial.
The successful applicant will be dealing solely with equal pay claims and your workload will include gathering witness statements and preparing trial documents. It is essential you have knowledge and experience of employment law and candidates from all backgrounds including public sector, private practice and in-house will be considered for the role.
You will work in a team of 4 other solicitors. The council not only offers flexible working hours but also allows a degree of home working for the right candidate.
