Finance Lawyers for Sydney

Minter Ellison's expanding Finance Group is currently looking to consolidate its position in the market by taking on top quality junior lawyers in its Sydney office. Working for a range of blue-chip household names, this group offers first class work, as well as the opportunity to really develop as a lawyer while building a practice and progressing your career.

The Sydney Finance Group is organised into teams which focus on:

• Corporate Finance - work includes acting for banks and/or sponsors in leveraged finance transactions, acting for banks and/or borrowers on bilateral funding facility arrangements and acting in syndications;

• Structured Finance - work includes securitisation and other structured capital markets transactions, tax based finance and asset finance;

• Property and construction - work varies from highly structured property transactions to vanilla property based transactions; and

• Projects and Project Finance - work includes acting on some of the largest and most complex infrastructure and resources transactions in Asia Pacific, across a range of sectors including energy, transport and social infrastructure.

Grouping the teams in this way means that client needs can be fully serviced across all the main areas of banking and finance practice while allowing lawyers to specialise to the extent they choose. An interest and quality experience in more than one of the areas listed above would be highly appreciated as you will ideally work with a number of partners across specialisations.

Excellent client relationship skills and a desire to work within this cohesive and energetic group are prerequisites for this role as business development and mentoring are key aspects - as well as the ability to provide commercially focused advice on cutting edge, international transactions.
