Financial Services/Pensions Lawyer, Glasgow

A new role has now arisen in this high profile team for a junior pensions lawyer within the firm’s corporate department. The pensions department consists of a close, friendly team which would give the right candidate an ideal opportunity to grow and develop in a stimulating working environment. Experience in pensions law would be an advantage but is not essential. This role would suit a person who is keen to embrace a new challenge and explore this specialist and ever changing area of law. This role will suit an individual who is able to assimilate knowledge quickly and thrives in an ever changing area of law. Someone with an analytical mind who has a capacity to work to a high level of detail with a complex and challenging subject matter. This role involves giving advice to a wide range of clients including trustees, employers, members and ex-members of pension schemes, analysing corporate vendors and purchasers, and advising financial service companies and institutions on all aspects of pensions law. Specific training in pensions law is available and would be provided through in house training and external seminars. Relevant legal specialisms include; tax law, employment law, investment law, corporate law, and trusts.
