About you:
We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our Banking & Finance team in Melbourne.
Supporting 1 Senior Associate, 3 Solicitors and a Consultant you will provide a range of secretarial and administrative support including document preparation and management, administration and billing.
This is a busy role that will be challenging and demanding but highly rewarding, and will use the skills of someone who is resourceful, energetic, and who has a good understanding of the variety of secretarial tasks that will need to be provided.
Your day will involve:
- managing and maintaining files
- preparing and amending lengthy documents including cross referencing and marking up
dictaphone work
- general typing
- processing of monthly client bills
- organising meetings and coordinating catering and travel
- client phone dealings
- liaising with clients.
You will have:
- minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute
- advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office programs
- the ability to work well under pressure
- excellent attention to detail and prioritising skills
- recognised experience in a similar environment.
