Leading global insurance company seeks first class specialist IT lawyer to join its legal department.
Advising on all aspects of IT you will be responsible for providing IT legal services to key areas of the business, including advising on the purchase of new hardware, software and development and maintenance agreements. You will also advise on contract interpretation and any disputes if necessary. From time to time, you may also be required to provide general legal advice on a broad range of wider issues (for example, regulatory). You will also instruct external counsel as and when appropriate.
You will be a solicitor or barrister with 3 years' + PQE who is able to work unsupervised. You will have technical expertise and flexibility combined with a sound commercial sense and the ability to make pragmatic decisions.
