To assist in the Company’s continued expansion and development, we are now seeking to appoint our first in-house lawyer, who will oversee all current UK activity and future overseas ventures. The role will entail advising on all legal issues affecting the Company, primarily advising on and dealing with commercial contracts, including procurement and distribution contracts, customer contracts, NDAs and software and IT licences. Other areas will include IP, acquisitions and disposals and company secretary matters. You will also work in close conjunction with external counsel where applicable.
To succeed, you must have strong commercial contracts experience, and the ability to operate with considerable autonomy. You will also need an enquiring mind and an enthusiastic and friendly “can-do” attitude. Most importantly, you will be a confident self starter, with the drive and ambition to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial business at an exciting time.
