Looking to work for the best? Our client with over 20 offices in 19 countries and over 3,000 staff is seeking a procurement specialist to analyse internal and external data, generate reports and present, negotiate and implement agreements.
VACANCY
* To develop and maintain a procurement strategy to assist the firm with maintaining a profitable business
* To monitor and report spending trends to assist with accurate tenders
* Influence customers in use of profiling spend data
* Preparation of project briefs for presentation to the Global Group
* Work with the Global teams to deliver preferred supplier goods and services utilising best practice project management methodologies
* Measure the effectiveness of the purchasing function against actual tender targets
* Investigate and challenge existing purchasing methods and sources
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* CIPS and Prince 2 qualified
* Previous experience in a similar role gained from professional services environment
* Experience of developing and implementing performance measurement and MI to inform complex business decisions
* The ability to ensure that the process and design of procurement system functionality fits with business requirements
* A confident and enthusiastic professional
* The ability to communicate well at all levels
* Have a proven track record in influencing others
