A public sector organisation in the midlands has a vacancy for a head of legal locum position. This position is an ongoing position to assist with a period of transition within the department.
The duties will include the day to day running of a public sector legal department, dealing with all aspects of the law for a small local authority. Specific areas of the law include planning, licensing, environmental health and corporate governance.
The successful candidate will have a legal background at senior solicitor level or above, preferably within a public sector environment.
