THE FIRM
Our US client established a Hong Kong office in the early 80s and has demonstrated a long commitment to Hong Kong, its role as a regional financial centre and its ongoing importance to business transactions in China. The Hong Kong office combines local qualification with the strength and diversity of an international law firm. In addition to its U.S. law capabilities, the firm is a registered Hong Kong firm qualified to advise on Hong Kong legal issues.
THE ROLE
*You will join a team which places special emphasis in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, foreign direct investment and the establishment of join ventures.
*You will work with Partners who have been consistently recognised as market leaders both in private equity and M&A by publications such as Chambers Asia, IFLR 1000, Who's Who in Private Equity – China 2008, Asian Venture Capital Journal, Asia Pacific Legal 500 and Chambers Global.
*You will work closely with Partners and associates from across the China Practice.
*You will earn a top New York salary and enjoy a number of other benefits.
ABOUT YOU
*Solid background in M&A and Private Equity with a number of years experience
*At the senior level language skills are not required though would be highly beneficial
