In House Lawyer - Commercial

If you are between 18 months and 3 yrs qualified and would like to work in-house within the IT sector in a dynamic and commercial environment, you will be interested in this excellent opportunity with our Guildford and London based client who are among the best in providing career development opportunities for their Legal team of 6.

You will work closely with the business units to support the overall business objectives of the company and day to day work will include telephone advice to Project Managers, drafting opinions on matters of commercial law and interpreting the law as it relates to the Company's activities. You will be called on to advise on general legal/commercial matters as well as IP and so you will need to have had some good commercial exposure as well as a good working knowledge of IP within the IT sector.

The role will also involve drafting contracts (including software development, confidentiality, licenses) with both suppliers and customers in a wide variety of sectors including telecoms, government, financial services and insurance.
