The Role:Your initial focus will be on indirect tax, largely VAT, although they are looking for somebody to expand beyond this for the longer term. Although you will be based in Newcastle centre you will benefit from a largely national client base. Working closely with a range of important clients you will develop a deep understanding of their commercial issues, while finding approaches that make a real difference to their bottom line. The Tax practice is a dynamic, successful and growing area of the business. The Tax team works with a wide range of organisations and individuals, helping them to implement the tax approaches that suit their needs. The Person: Ideally you will have had some exposure to tax work although full training can be offered to somebody able to demonstrate a genuine desire to specialise in this area of law teamed with sound experience in Commercial/Corporate or Commercial Litigation.
