JOB PROFILE
Purpose/Key responsibilities:
A sixth month temporary contract to provide additional senior legal resource for the UK Legal Department during the UK Head of Legals absence on maternity leave. Responsibilities likely to include:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating investment management agreements, confidentiality agreements, IT contracts, distribution and outsourcing service agreements.
Reviewing prospectuses and other retail fund documentation.
Assisting with the legal aspects of AXA IMs MiFID project for its UK businesses.
Drafting/reviewing terms of business and marketing documentation.
Competencies:
A senior lawyer with a broad knowledge of the Financial Services industry, particularly Asset Management.
A team player.
Good negotiation and drafting skills.
Ability to identify and report any legal risks and legal issues.
Experience/Qualifications:
A UK qualified lawyer with a good private practice training and at least 5 years post qualification experience. Ideally experience to include one to two years experience in-house in Asset Management.
