In-House Legal Counsel - Heathrow

Guoman Hotel Management (UK) Limited is currently looking for a talented in-house legal counsel with 3+ years’ post qualification experience to act as the sole commercial lawyer for the Group. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this hire will be an integral part of the Group’s team to provide practical, commercial legal advice to the company, with a particular emphasis upon commercial contracts.

You will be required to provide advice to assist in the appropriate allocation of risk and protection of the company’s interests, handle disputes with suppliers and third parties and assist with tender documents and processes. You will have the ability to work to tight deadlines, experience of working in a highly confidential environment, and the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

The right candidate will have gained relevant experience within a law firm or another in-house role, and possess strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with suppliers and other third parties including external solicitors.
