Our client, a highly regarded contact centre technology specialist, operating in multiple vertical markets across the UK with a portfolio of blue-chip clients, seeks a 2+ years pqe qualified lawyer, with solid commercial experience, particularly in the areas of IT and/or IP.
Over the last ten years, our client has been delivering award winning solutions to help organisations communicate effectively with their clients through multiple technology channels, including self-service solutions using natural language and biometrics; bespoke software applications; IPT; and workforce optimisation amongst others.

Our client now seeks a 2+ years pqe qualified lawyer, with solid commercial experience, particularly in the areas of IT and/or IP and preferably from an IT in-house environment. The role would also be an attractive opportunity for an individual from a private practice background looking to make their first move in-house having already had an in-house secondment.
Key responsibilities of the role:
• Implementing, and maintaining the corporate parameters for risk
• Drafting, and taking part in negotiating commercial contracts covering customer and partner agreements, licensing, intellectual property and trademarks
• Supporting debt collection, managing litigation and instructing external counsel
The ideal candidate will be a 2+ years pqe lawyer who will work well within a team, with the ability to coach and guide. Further, this person will be confident communicating, negotiating and influencing at all levels. You will need to empathise with clients, interpret client needs, and find commercially creative solutions to contractual issues and balance legal risks against business interests. Good commercial acumen, awareness of internal and external business issues and best practice in your own discipline are also requirements in this role.
