Owing to expanding business, this leading City firm have a vacancy for 1-4 years PQE solicitors in our Insurance and Reinsurance Group. The practice (nine partners, 18 solicitors and three trainees) handles a broad range of high quality insurance and reinsurance work at the upper end, including in particular professional indemnity, financial institutions, product liability, political risk and reinsurance work.
Any candidate for this position is likely already to have obtained a solid grounding from a City firm litigation practice. Ideally, candidates will have one year of post qualification experience either with a client or in a law firm in one of the major product areas being, professional indemnity work, F.I., product liability, political risk and reinsurance.
The role is a pro-active one with the successful candidates taking on responsibility for the day-to-day conduct of a variety of some of the most challenging and technically difficult claims in the areas of specialisation concerned. The successful candidates will be highly motivated and ambitious and, while provided with all necessary support, will have considerable input on the strategy and conduct of their own caseload and will have substantial client contact.
