Investment Funds Solicitors

Our discrete Investment Funds team, within the London Corporate Group, seeks to recruit an Investment Funds lawyer. The team currently consists of two Partners, two Associates and three other assistants. The team has seen rapid growth since its inception about 3 years ago and needs to broaden out the resource at the assistant level. Ideally we would like to recruit someone with at least 2 years relevant experience.

DLA Piper has a permanent multi-disciplinary team which services the requirements of our clients in relation to all aspects of collective investment vehicles, offering advice in particular in the following areas: real estate funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, retail funds, investment/venture capital trusts and other listed funds, and institutional investment.

Although based within Corporate, the role provides cross-departmental support to, in particular, the Real Estate and Banking lawyers as well as the Corporate team. Individuals may have focused so far on private equity and real estate funds, however experience in the wider investment funds arena would also be of interest. We encourage all lawyers to take part in the business development and marketing of the team as well as offering an unusual variety of experience over the full industry range.

Additionally, the role may suit a tax or pensions lawyer wishing to move into a more transactional based role and who has worked on funds matters in a tax/pensions capacity. As with all candidates who will be considered, inidividuals must be technically able in their current role and at the same time have a real interest in investment funds.
