ISDA Lawyer - Job Description
Our Client is a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services worldwide to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments and high net-worth individuals.
They are seeking to appoint an experienced ISDA negotiator for a 12 month contract in London to join the team covering the fixed income, currency and equity business groups.
Skills/Experience:
• 1-5 years experience negotiating derivatives and commodities documentation in an investment bank environment, with solid knowledge of the ISDA Master Agreement, Credit Support Annex and related documents.
• Experience with emerging markets, funds and pension funds is desirable.
• Language skills advantageous.
A legal qualification is not required although they are looking at both lawyers and non qualified's for this role.a thorough understanding of the legal issues surrounding derivatives will be important.
In order to thrive in this fast-paced, demanding environment you will need to be highly team orientated, have excellent communication skills and an proactive approach to a global investment bank.
Excellent Remuneration
12 month contract.
