An opportunity currently exists for an experienced corporate securities lawyer, with solid capital markets experience, to join the Melbourne Corporate group.
The Corporate practice group serves the needs of Australian and International businesses. We work with many of Asia Pacific's largest public companies and major financial institutions, providing high-level advice on company and securities laws to boards and senior management.
An essential component of the position will be your ability to work with the firm's major clients and other practice groups in the firm providing high level specialist advice and innovative solutions.
The general corporate work includes:
- major acquisitions and disposals
- due diligence
- takeovers and scheme of arrangement
- fund raising
- prospectus/disclosure work
- listed public company advice
- investment and financial services work.
We welcome applications from lawyers with strong technical expertise and between 4-5 year post qualification experience. A commercial approach, high-level communication skills and the ability to develop strong client relationships are essential to this position as is the ability to work within a team environment.
