Our South/Central London client requires an Adults & Community Care Lawyer for a 6-9 month duration.
A vacancy has arisen within the new
in-house Social Services Legal Team for an
experienced Adults and Community Care Lawyer for
an initial 9-12 month contract.
The role involves providing dedicated legal
advice to a corporate project dealing with the responsibilities for adults and
families with no recourse to public funds. The
role will also involve undertaking general adults
and community care advice work and conduct of
judicial review cases.
In particular a good understanding of the
Council's duties and responsibilities under the
NHS and Community Care Act 1990 and National
Assistance Act 1948 is essential.
