Legal Counsel - Abu Dhabi - Job Description
Our client is a busy commercial bank with strong growth plans and an increasing international presence. As part of their continued growth and increasing demand for legal services, they have attracted and recruited lawyers from leading firms, financial services organisations and investment banks.
An additional role for a legal counsel with between 3-4 years pqe has been created, to provide support across various business groups and assist the bank in its own corporate activities. The successful candidate will be exposed too;
derivatives,global markets (debt and equities)
asset finance, DCM, real estate finance
Islamic finance, wealth management
transaction negotiation, management and execution
UAE or GCC experience will be well regarded but is not essential. Applicants will be a UK qualified solicitor or barrister, US bar or equivalent. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation offering a highly competitive package plus great bonus potential.
