Legal Counsel - BERMUDA – 5+ years PQE – Rare In-house Opportunity with Local Trust Company – Excellent remuneration package - Job Description
Our client is seeking a self-motivated and innovative lawyer with extensive experience in trust and estates. The role will report directly to and work closely with both the President and Chairman of the Board. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in the marketing, business promotion and development of the Trust Company both in Bermuda and overseas.
To be considered for this exciting and challenging role, you will need at least five years experience working in trust and corporate law in a common law jurisdiction. Extensive knowledge in the setting up and administration of trusts, estates and underlying companies is a pre-requisite and experience in either US, Canadian or UK Tax and Securities law would be an advantage.
This is a challenging role for an energetic individual with a track record of good client relations. It will ultimately suit someone with the knowledge, experience and ability to assume overall responsibility for the management and legal documentation of the trust company.
