Legal Editor/Writers - Job Description
Based in North Ryde, these in-house roles represent a truly different alternative for lawyers. This publishing organisation strongly supports a work/life balance and offers flexible hours.
You will enjoy autonomy whilst working in a team that is close and supportive of each other. All employees in the legal group are ex-lawyers who wanted a different lifestyle and/or enjoy working with a focus on writing and research. Employees can also work from home from time to time and are offered lunch time yoga classes and walking groups. Employees are encouraged to stay fit, healthy and not stressed!
To be considered you will need some exposure in either corporate / trade practices / IR/employment law, ideally gained from 1 to 3 years in a reputable law firm, but lawyers outside this range are also encouraged to apply. You will also have superior communication, project management, time management and negotiation skills.
The office is open plan, quiet but friendly. Ex-lawyers find the attitude and hours very refreshing!
