NQ Litigation - Job Description

Our Client is looking for an NQ Solicitor to join their Litigation Unit in Cardiff. The role will involve complex Title Rectification, Fraud, Banking and Professional Negligence matters.

The Litigation Unit is part of our Legal Systems Group. It is the largest specialist team of its type in the country and deals with all aspects of litigation and dispute resolution for an unrivaled client list of banks, lenders and other financial institutions.

The unit is very dynamic. They are lawyers in the true sense of the word yet our close ties to the volume services departments within our practice group make us unique and flexible in our approach to working practices. The emphasis of this role is on complex problem solving and litigation for very demanding repeat clients. The work is intellectually challenging but focused on a discrete sector so a high degree of expertise can be developed.

You will require strong academic ability, excellent communication skills and a willingness to work under pressure.

Previous experience of this work type is not essential but you will have sat at least one litigation seat as a trainee.
You will have a basic grounding in litigation practice and procedures; show good communication skills and be committed with tact and sound judgment.

You must be a team player as the role will require a close working relationship with immediate colleagues and the wider department.

NB: Experience or PQE levels are illustrative only and serve as a guide to candidates. We welcome applications from those with more or less relevant experience than stated since such candidates may well be of interest to us.
