This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join a high profile Litigation team based in South Yorkshire.
The Commercial Dispute Resolution team deals with a broad range of contentious cases for public and private sector clients. The team advises clients on techniques of dispute avoidance and management aimed at reducing the risk of disputes escalating to formal litigation. This involves analysing each dispute and agreeing with clients the most appropriate dispute resolution technique to use to achieve their aims. This role has a varied caseload and there will be a broad mix of work, with a good exposure to Alternative Dispute Resolution, particularly mediation. There will also be a blend of defendant personal injury work acting primarily on behalf of the DTI The Person • Must have prior Commercial Dispute Resolution experience • Good personal presence and manner • A flexible approach to client demands • Ability to make a positive impact with clients.
