Our small, dedicated construction team in Manchester forms part of a much larger integrated national team. We seek an additional assistant with 3 years' experience (possibly less if relevant experience) to join the practice. The team in Manchester does a mixture of both contentious and non-contentious work but with an increasing bias towards non-contentious work. Like many construction teams work comes from a variety of self generated and referred sources, especially internally in relation to projects (PFI, PPP), property finance and development work and also via a contractor and employer client case. Our Construction Team has a superb client base which include:- building contractors, central government departments, developers, house builders, power and plant engineering contractors, software companies and universities. Work consists of the usual mix of contract drafting and advice and contractual disputes whether in litigation, arbitration or adjudication. Candidates currently working as in-house legal advisors within the construction sector are encouraged to apply, and as ever, we remain interested to hear from those at quality private practice firms.
