Night DS Operator - 6 Month Contract - Job Description
Our client is a Magic Circle Law Firm, based in the City. They are currently looking for an experienced Document Specialist to join them on a 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will be required to work 4 days a week and one Saturday out of four during the night shift that runs from midnight to 08:00. You will be providing the overnight DP service to various fee earners and your main responsibilities will include:-
Audio/copy typing and formatting complex documents, spreadsheets and presentations in line with the house-style
Conversion of documents into the house-style
Proofreading all work to ensure documents are delivered accurately and to a high standard and ensure that all edits have been inserted
Assisting fee earners with technical queries in all packages as well as advising PAs and fee earners on document production
Providing support to other Document Specialists to ensure that peaks and troughs of demand are managed
Essential skills & experience must include:-
Previous document production experience within a legal environment IS A MUST
Fast and accurate typing speed of at least 70WPM (copy and audio)
Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Understanding of packages such as Visio, iManage and ABBY Finereader will be seen as an advantage
