A great opening for a competent non-contentious solicitor has arisen at this growing and dynamic legal practice. This successful law firm was formed as the result of a merger of two long established firms of solicitors and have together over 140 years of history as a practice. There are excellent prospects within this role and you will work within a friendly working environment.
This role would suit an individual able to head the non-contentious work at our clients office and the role will include providing advice and act as a 'point of contact' for HNW, business and farming clients; deal with investment and agricultural properties and high-value property (and general complex property matters); advise on IHT and CGT issues (a full working knowledge of wills and probate/estate administration would be useful); act as trustee (small trusts usually with a managed portfolio and accountants); provide advice on non-contentious matters for less experienced solicitors; develop the non-contentious work of the firm; take over many of the long term clients of the retiring Senior Partner.
To be successful you will arrive as a confident individual able to stand on your own two feet and to contribute to the team as a whole. You will have excellent academics as well as with wide-ranging experience of non-contentious work either during training and post qualification with a well-known City or regional law firm.
