The work includes:-
Dealing with a range of commercial litigation matters to include breach of contract, negligence, Companies Court work, fraud, defamation, IP
Handling some property litigation and landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, dilapidations and service charge disputes
Acting for companies, banks and other financial institutions, partnerships, professional bodies and private individuals
Handling a large and varied caseload, with a strong commercial approach
You will ideally have:
Recently been admitted as a Solicitor with the right to work in the UK
A high level of motivation and commitment
A determination to provide a truly outstanding service to clients, both as a lawyer and an adviser
Experience gained from a City or good regional firm
Client focus, with a strength in building and sustaining relationships
Commercial awareness
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
The ability to work as part of a team within both the Commercial Litigation team and other internal teams across the business
A developing affinity with marketing and business development
The ability to work well under pressure
Solid IT skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience of working a case management system
An interest in Property Litigation, IP, Fraud or Construction or another specialist area would be an advantage
