HR Officer (Generalist) **US Law Firm** - Job Description
Our client a leading US Law firm have an opportunity for an HR Officer to work in a highly regarded HR department taking responsibility for the business support side of the firm. You will be responsible for all recruitment matters from the process stage to maintaining the recruitment schedule, interviewing candidates, managing agencies, negotiating offers and obtaining reference requests through to being the HR contact when they join the firm. You must have a solid understanding of the legal and graduate recruitment processes and provide assistance as and when required. You will arrange secretarial cover and maintain visibility with secretaries and their fee earners. You will have full generalist responsibility deputising for the HR Manager in her absence. You will prepare and deliver the induction programme for all new starters, maintain accurate checklists for joiners, leavers, probation, change in salary, maternity etc and manage all these matters in a professional way. You will assist with the salary review process, keep the HR database up to date and provide advice on the firms policies and procedures, arrange benefits administration and assist with performance management processes in conjunction with the HR Manager.
