Salary : £35,00 - £40,000 depending on expereince , 26 days holiday , Pension , Healthcare , Dental , On Site Gym , in-house subsidised restaurant
Client : Magic Circle , International Law firm with in excess of 3000 users golbally.
Role - The purpose of the Operations Support Monitoring Role is to ensure that the monitoring of Operations Critical Applications are carried out on a regular duration throughout the day. Utilising Monitoring Software such as MOM and Solarwinds Console. This role will also be heavily involved in Storage and Backups utilising NetBackup.
Technology : The client is a Microsoft house and utilise a range of technologies such as AD / Windows Server 2000 / SQL / Exchange / Netbackup
Background of Candidate : The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years commercial experience within a large corporate environment of 500 users + with significant experience of monitoring Microsoft Servers using MOM alerts and ideally Solarwinds Console.
This is a fantastic role for someone who wishes to join a best of breed server team within one of the UK's top tier professional services firm. Longer term this will be an opportunity to move into a technical analyst role and specialise in one of the areas of Database, messaging, Network or Storage.
