London law firm Leigh Day & Co is looking for a paralegal to join our busy discrimination law team. The work will focus primarily on multi party equal pay claims, representing large numbers of claimants.
Future work will be concentrated in the south of the country, although at present the firm is advising individuals and developing work in areas such as Greater Manchester and Staffordshire, as well as in and around London.
You should ideally have a knowledge of discrimination law and employment tribunal or court practice and be willing to travel throughout England to meet clients and raise the profile of our equal pay work. In addition to undertaking a number of trips in the coming months, you will also be meeting clients, assimilating client information and assisting with the development of ongoing cases and identification of future areas of work.
The firm is also developing its disability discrimination practice in conjunction with the human rights team and some knowledge of disability discrimination would also be an advantage.
This is a 9 months fixed term contract, full time role.
