Paralegal

The Litigation and Regulation Department at Bond Pearce LLP are recognised nationally for their knowledge and expertise. The department have successfully developed a debt recovery model which is run by the Credit Management Services team. The team conduct debt recovery work and fast track litigation for a number of large institutional clients, with particular specialist sector expertise in retail and education.

Due to continued expansion in this team an opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join this successful team in Plymouth. Working, predominately for existing clients you will be the first point of contact for all debt recovery matters. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities including issuing letters before action, issuing proceedings and dealing with various enforcement procedures. You will maintain regular telephone contact with both clients and debtors.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your legal career with a nationally established team, and to work with a number of recognised leaders in the profession.

Ideally you will have experience in credit control or a background in accounts/finance type administration and/or paralegal experience. Applications from those who have completed a law degree and/or LPC will also be considered. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be a strong team player and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
