Paralegal - Leasing & Conveyancing - Canberra

You have probably worked in a paralegal, leasing, conveyancing role or even as a mortgage clerk with a financial institution where you have been dealing directly with clients under the supervision of a legal team or partner.

You may have been successfully performing a similar role for several years and be seeking the next challenge, wanting to step up into a larger, stimulating environment working with clients that undertake major projects or developments in the Canberra region. You have a natural tendency to be organised and proactive, and enjoy working within a team culture and liaising with clients. You understand the importance of your role in a client relationship and how it makes their day a success.

About the role:

Your primary focus will be on delivering timely and accurate leasing services. There will also be conveyancing aspects to attend to. You will receive instructions from the legal team and report direct to the supervising senior lawyers and partner.

You will be an integral part of the team and will need to regularly liaise with clients, their lawyers, and the other legal support staff. A high level of diplomacy and confidentiality is required as many projects are of a sensitive nature or may not yet be public knowledge. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and expectations of the role.
