People & Development Manager (Shared Services) - Sydney

About you:

An excellent opportunity currently exists within our People & Development ("P&D") team for an experienced HR professional to join the group in the role of People & Development Manager for Shared Services.

In this role you will be responsible for providing operational HR management advice and support to managers and staff in shared services teams in the Sydney office.

The key to your success will be your highly developed operational HR capabilities and sound understanding of legislation affecting human resource management, performance management experience, and your excellent organisational/detail skills. You will thrive on the challenge of juggling, prioritising and delivering multiple tasks to deadlines. You will have an accessible management style that engenders confidence in a range of stakeholders.

Your previous experience will enable you to take on the responsibility for more complex day-to-day operational issues in the Sydney and Melbourne centres in the absence of the Head of P&D for Shared Services who works part-time and is based in Melbourne. Experience in a professional services environment will be highly regarded.
