My client is a leading law firm based on the South Coast with a number of offices throughout the region. Due to continued success a Probate Assistant required to join the team in Portsmouth.

Legal experience is essential and experience with routine probate matters will be particularly advantageous. Under lawyer supervision, the role will include dealing with small estates, visiting properties and have a strong client focus in addition to secretarial duties.

The successful candidate will have exceptional client management skills, a positive approach to team working as well as the ability to work on their own initiative. The position requires someone who is approachable and confident. Ideally should be experienced in dealing with a busy and varied workload with an ability to remain calm under pressure. Flexibility in both work content and across teams is essential.

In addition to the above, a proven accurate typing speed of at least 65 wpm+, at least an intermediate+ knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and a GCSE/A Level in Maths, English are required.
