Private Client Senior Solicitor - York

A vacancy has arisen for a senior solicitor to join our Private Capital Group (PCG) within the Private Client Department, based in our York office.

The PCG advises on all aspects of private client law, predominantly centring on capital taxation planning, drafting of Wills, Trusts and ancillary documentation and advising generally in relation to wealth structuring. In addition to PCG, the firm's Private Client Department includes the Tax, Trust and Accounting Services Team, Financial Planning Team, Charities Team and Matrimonial Team.

The successful candidate would be expected to head up Private Client mainstream services in York.

Currently, our PCG work is handled from our Newcastle office, with some of our associates and managers spending time at the Tees Valley office each week. We are looking for a highly motivated senior solicitor to deal with mainstream private client work and who has the vision to develop a team in York to mirror the PCG team in Newcastle.

The successful candidate will either currently be a partner or be a senior associate with genuine partnership prospects. For the right candidate, partnership may be offered following successful performance in the role.
