Our Client is looking for Solicitor to join their Professional Negligence team in Cardiff. The team comprises of 10 members of varying skill and qualification, reporting to an Associate and Partner.
The role will exclusively involve professional negligence claims on behalf of residential lenders against valuers and solicitors with an emphasis on complex problem solving and litigation for very demanding repeat clients. The work is intellectually challenging but focused on a discrete sector so a high degree of expertise can be developed.
You will require strong academic ability, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. A solid grasp of litigation procedure and practice is essential.
Previous experience of professional negligence claims (Defendant or Claimant) for lenders or insurers is an advantage.
You must have a high level of technical competence in litigation practice and procedure coupled with excellent communication skills, tact and good judgment. You will be a team player with a committed approach to your work.
