Professional Support Lawyer - Job Description
A new vacancy has arisen within our clients Built Environment Group (BEG) for a Professional Support Lawyer in the Construction, Engineering and Projects Team. BEG is the amalgamation of the Construction, Engineering & Projects Department and the Property Department. However, the specialisms remain distinct and as such there is a separate PSL for CEP and Property. In terms of team size, there are approximately 40 CEP fee earners in the four national locations. You will be expected to deal with all matters relating to Support on Client, knowledge Management, Business Development, and Training, while preparing and updating websites.
We envisage that the successful candidate will possess at least 6 year\'s post qualified experience (PQE), however we will accept applications from candidates of all levels of experience, who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills for the role. You will need to have the confidence and ability to lead on transactions in a high quality environment with little or no direct supervision, strong academic background particularly relating to the research requirements and a number of years as a fee earner is essential. You must have had an excellent standard of training and quality of experience, which will enable you to operate comfortably and confidently with blue chip clients on large and complex transactions.
