Our client, a major financial organisation based in Luxembourg seeks a project and structured financing lawyer to provide legal support to their Lending Operations in Europe Department.\r\nThe lawyer will perform tasks related to all of the Division’s responsibilities and work independently on standard operations. S/he will get the opportunity to draw up reports on completed transactions and prepare his/her own proposals when on fundamental or unusual issues. Main responsibilities will include:\r\n• Creating the legal framework for financing operations and guarantees \r\n• Managing high-level contacts and negotiations \r\n• Liaising where necessary with external consultants and supervising their work \r\n• Contributing to the process of developing strategies and policies for providing the legal services. \r\nThe candidate would ideally be common law qualified and will preferably have experience in the field of structured financing and project financing or banking law in a law firm of international repute or a financial institution. The successful lawyer will also have a high level of professional commitment and have the ability to develop innovative legal solutions. \r\n\r\n
