We are looking for an Associate to join our Dubai office, with experience in projects, real estate and construction.

The focus of Ashurst Dubai is on energy, transport and infrastructure projects, corporate finance and international structured finance. As a leading full service international law firm, we are able to offer a full range of legal services to our clients, including (in addition to those above), real estate, litigation and arbitration, trade finance, regulatory, commercial and tax.

Ashurst Dubai opened in September 2005 and represents the firm's interests in the Middle East. Nick Bryans is managing partner in Dubai.

Ashurst's construction lawyers provide construction law and risk management advice in relation to all aspects of domestic and international construction procurement. The group advises on the construction aspects of all types of property investment and development, all types of property sales and purchases and both publicly and privately financed energy, transport, infrastructure and regeneration projects. They act for developers, public bodies, funding institutions, project sponsors, contractors and consultants.

They advise on procurement strategy and structure (including how and when to use bespoke or standard forms of contract) and will negotiate all forms of engineering and construction contracts and associated security documentation.

We also have extensive experience of all forms of real estate activity ranging from the acquisition, development, letting and sale of mixed use sites, office buildings, business parks, retail units, shopping centres, hotels and leisure and industrial sites to major urban regeneration projects, property financing transactions, public private partnerships and private finance initiatives, joint ventures, outsourcing, real estate investment funds and other innovative co-ownership or real estate tax and real estate finance driven schemes.
