Property Lawyer (From 2yrs+ PQE)

We are currently looking to recruit a Property Lawyer to join our Manchester team who has from 2 years+ post qualification experience.

Brief

We are currently looking to recruit a property lawyer who has from 2 years+ post qualification experience to join our Manchester Property Group.

The Candidate Required

The successful candidates will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Examples of Recent Work
•Redhouse Projects - 200 acre business park for up to 2 million sq ft of mixed distribution, office and leisure space just off the A1(M) near Doncaster. We structured phased land acquisition since 1993, set up the jv, dealt with infrastructure contracts and let and disposed of units including the 800,000 sq ft B & Q distribution warehouse – the UK's largest ever pre-let.

•Sterling St James – we are acting for this joint venture company in connection with the development partnering agreement with Yorkshire Forward for Centreport, Goole. This will be a £350m mixed commercial/light industrial development of 190 acres linked to the M62 and mainline rail network.

•Thorpe Park Leeds – this is a £300m, 1.8m sq.ft./310 acre business park development adjoining the A1/M1 Link Road in East Leeds. We structured option agreements and land acquisition since 1990 for the company controlling the development, Thorpe Park (Leeds) Limited, itself controlled by Severn Trent Property Limited.
