Property Litigation Solicitor

What sort of person we're looking for:-

We're looking for someone who is technically accomplished with experience of dealing with high quality commercial property litigation cases. Your legal skills will compliment the team and you will act as support to some of the less experienced members of the team. Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked in a large commercial practice, possibly in London, who is looking to work on a part-time basis. We can be flexible in relation to working hours.

What we can offer:-

The work carried out in the department is mainly commercial landlord and tenant work for the existing client base of the firm. The work includes lease renewals, dilapidations work, advice on refusals to grant consent to assignments/underlettings, rent review advice and general commercial work for plc’s, high street retailers, developers and banks. It also includes providing advice and guidance to members of the Property Department.
The Property Litigation team is ranked in the first tier of firms in the North in both Chambers and Legal 500.

Where the applicant will fit in:-

The team currently consists of Andrew Beck, the partner who heads up the team, plus four associates and two assistant solicitors. The support team includes paralegals and secretaries. The team work extremely well together and whoever fills this current position will be fully integrated and involved in the growth and development of the department.

Necessary qualifications

A minimum of four years PQE (but will consider anyone who can demonstrate the skills and knowledge we are looking for).
