Prosecutions & Litigation Solicitor, Local Authority, Home Countries
A local authority requires assistance with prosecutions and litigation work until the end of March 2009.
The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of litigation and prosecution matters. You will be able to handle preliminary matters and non contested matters in the County and Magistrates Court and with more complex / contested work you will be to free to either instruct Council or undertake your own advocacy should you wish to do so.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of civil and criminal matters and ideally have previously worked within the legal services of another local authority or other public sector body. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a varied and long term position which is situated close to good transport links.
