We are looking to recruit assistants to join one of the UK's largest and most prestigious real estate departments.
As well as a being a market leading domestic practice - Nabarro completed over £21 billion of transactions in the last year, including in excess of £850 million of inward investment for overseas investors and funders - we've recently completed over €800 million of transactions in continental Europe for UK clients.
We have "best friend" relationships with Gassner Stockmann & Kollagen - voted Germany's "Real Estate Firm Of The Year" last year - and August and Debouzy in France, as well as working closely with firms in a number of other jurisdictions.
We're also heavily involved in the leading European property organisations such as EPRA and INREV.
Special Requirements
- Strong academics
- Experience from mid tier/strong property firms
- Some experience or working on, or training in, UK real estate matters is desirable.
The Role
For the junior level appointments day to day work involves drafting and completing all forms of licences including licence to assign, underlet, charge and alterations; dealing with short term residential and commercial leases, deeds of variation and deeds of rectification, documenting rent reviews and dealing with third party applications for consent.
You assist in property management transactions for a wide variety of high profile real estate clients, essentially dealing with volume work in landlord and tenant licences and supplemental documents. You will also assist Partners and Senior Associates on larger, complete projects, sales and disposals.
At the more senior level, as part of our highly experienced team, you will regularly deal with £multi-million transactions and act for some of the largest property owners in the country. You will advise on all aspects of real estate business including major retail, mixed use and office developments and commercial landlord and tenant matters and, portfolio acquisitions and disposals.
The successful candidates will have gained experience from a recognised real estate department of a major or medium sized firm. In addition, candidates should have a strong academic background, the ambition to succeed and commitment to business development and client relationship management.
