An opportunity has arisen to work in our Recoveries and Finance team. The post will be varied and will involve legal work, help with management of the team and some marketing.
Legal work
Working on 'problem' cases, drafting difficult statement of case/document/ settlement agreement, dealing with negotiations or advising on way the best way forward.
Dealing with summary judgment applications
Work on defended order for sale applications.
Work on disputed claims for a variety of corporate clients and our own cases which become defended. For the latter, you would get trained up in law and procedures relating to the Solicitors Act 1974 and enforceability of Bills.
Management
Drafting precedents
Undertaking file reviews
Implementing money laundering process
Preparing workflows for work to be done by different individuals.
Marketing
Producing articles
Attending conferences
Meeting with clients and prospects
