Research Analyst - Job Description
The role involves researching companies, sectors, geographies and competitors and presenting the findings in user-friendly briefing documents.
You will have ideally gained experience from the following sectors a law firm, an investment bank, a management consultancy or similar environment. Exceptionally, others who could demonstrate relevant aptitude and knowledge.
The role
The successful candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience:
Education to degree level
An understanding of and interest in the business world
Excellent research and analytical skills
A high level of attention to detail Excellent written skills
Excellent numeracy
Experience of using both business information databases and the wider internet for commercial research
Ability to work to deadlines
Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Tenacity and a willingness to solve problems
Additional languages, an understanding of the legal sector and experience in a professional services partnership or similar environment would all be useful but are not essential.
